The New Porsche Panamera 2024 recently took the stage for its global debut, marking the third generation of the Panamera series.
As the successor, it maintains the original design lines and proportions while refining the details.
Notably, the front features a new air intake above the photo frame, serving both engine heat dissipation and increased air intake, ultimately contributing to enhanced power.
Changes on the sides focus on the lines of the windows, emphasizing its identity as a four-door coupe. The rear window seamlessly integrates with the body contour, showcasing a bilateral four-exit exhaust, emphasizing its sporty attributes. Standard dimensions measure 5052mm in length, 1937mm in width, and 1423mm in height, with a 2950mm wheelbase. The Executive Extended Version stretches these to 5202mm in length, 1937mm in width, 1428mm in height, and a 3100mm wheelbase.
Internally, the new Panamera 2024 introduces noticeable changes. The gear lever, acceleration mode selection switch, and auxiliary control lever are now conveniently positioned on the right side of the steering wheel.
The previous gear lever location is replaced by a touch control panel for air conditioning, along with space for wireless charging of mobile phones. Additionally, an optional 10.9-inch entertainment screen is available for the passenger seat, meeting the demand for larger screens. Ambient lighting across the entire dashboard enhances the interior's sense of width.
Optimized seat padding contributes to improved comfort, with increased elasticity compared to its predecessor. The new Panamera 2024 features a re-optimized rear seating system, ensuring heightened relaxation for rear passengers during extended journeys.
The new Panamera 2024 offers various powertrain combinations, with the Panamera and Panamera 4 models boasting a turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 engine delivering 260kW of power and 500N.m of torque, a slight increase from the previous model.
Furthermore, three plug-in hybrid models are available, featuring a 4.0-liter V8 turbocharged engine and a newly developed 140kW electric motor. This combination achieves a maximum power of 500 kW and torque of 930N.m, coupled with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission for a 3.2s zero-to-hundred acceleration.
Known for its exceptional handling, the new Panamera 2024 comes standard with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), incorporating dual-chamber air springs and dual-valve CDC dampers. This system not only minimizes road surface impacts but also ensures vehicle body stability during dynamic driving, further enhancing handling.
For the E-Hybrid model, the new Panamera 2024 offers Porsche's active suspension system, Porsche Active Ride, utilizing a lighter single-chamber air suspension with dual-valve CDC dampers. This system strikes a balance between driving comfort and dynamics, providing better control for the driver and a smoother ride for the occupants.
