Eileen Gu, born September 3, 2003, in San Francisco, California, USA, is a Chinese female freestyle skier.

Eileen Gu started skiing at the age of 3, joined the professional ski team at the age of 8, and won the World Championship at the age of 15.

She was born into a high-profile family, with her father graduating from Harvard University and her mother from Stanford University.

Growing up in sunny San Francisco, where the nearest ski resort was a 4-hour drive from her home, meant that she spent only 1/6 of her time skiing as a student.

When she was 3 years old, her mom, who was a ski instructor, took her out on the slopes and she immediately showed a talent for skiing that was beyond the norm.

In the snow field, she seems to be afraid of nothing, only 3 years old, and wants to follow his mother to ski the advanced snow track.

Less than 8 years old, Eileen Gu has mastered the skills of driving the advanced snow track, 9 years old, took the skiing powerhouse of the All-American freestyle skiing Junior Championships.

On October 19, 2020, Eileen Gu received her SAT scores from the U.S. college entrance exams, which were out of a possible 1600 points, and Eileen Gu scored 1580 points and was accepted to Stanford University.

After getting the acceptance letter from Stanford University, Eileen Gu is very happy, but to prepare for the Beijing Winter Olympics, she decided to postpone a year to the beginning of 2022 then after the Beijing Winter Olympics, and then go to Stanford enrollment.

She said that Stanford University is her dream school. The desire to enter Stanford is as strong as winning the gold medal in the Winter Olympics.
